October 2023

Fall Community Cleanse
October 4th – 17th
(Your cleanse dates could be flexible)
RESET, REPLENISH, RENEW!

It’s that time of year again. The seasons are starting to change and it’s almost time to assist our bodies in making those changes and setting ourselves up for a healthy winter season. Now, more than ever, it seems our best defense for our body is a strong immune system. In the summer heat builds up in the tissues of our body and begins to dry things out. As we move into cooler temperatures our body tends to produce excess mucous in order to fight against that dryness. The excess mucous becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and viruses to take over. When we take the time to do a cleanse it allows us the opportunity to flush the excess heat, mucous, and toxins that have built up in our bodies.

The community cleanse utilizes the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda in order to help detoxify the body and reboot the digestive system, and going through the process with a community of others makes it all that much easier to get through it successfully. It is not a time of starvation or deprivation, we eat three (or four) meals each day and take specific herbs to assist the process of releasing toxins. It is a systematic two-week process that starts with preparing your body to go through the cleansing process (a four-day initial phase), doing the main cleanse (seven days), and then restoring your body to get back to eating your regular diet (a three-day reset phase). It is designed to be a two-week cleanse, but it can be customized to the length of time that you are able to commit to. If this timing doesn’t work for you, this can be flexible as well. You also do NOT have to be in Big Sky to participate. We can send you your supplies, you are welcome to join from anywhere.

Callie Stolz, C.A.S., P.K.S., Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Pancha Karma (cleansing) Specialist, will be leading this two-week community cleanse. There will also be yoga detox classes offered in combination with the cleanse in order to assist in the process as well as additional support via zoom for those participants near or far!

What it includes: one digestive herbal formula (specific to your needs), four cleansing and rejuvenating herbal formulas, seven days’ worth of the Ayurvedic cleansing food, other recipes, a booklet of information on the step-by-step process, weekly meetings and daily email support through the process. We will meet the Monday prior to distribute all of the items needed for the cleanse and have a meeting about the details (if the designated time doesn’t work for you other arrangements can be made). All meetings will be possible to join via zoom.

If you are interested in doing the cleanse but you have questions, and you would like to have a meeting to discuss the cleanse and get set up it will be an additional $75 fee.

SAVE 25% through Sunday, October 1st!

WIM HOF Fundamentals Workshop

Saturday, September 30th, 11:00 am-4:00 pm

Put yourself in the expert hands of a Certified WHM Instructor Brian Assam to learn the 3 pillars of the Wim Hof Method:

  • Breathing
  • Cold Therapy
  • Commitment

Find out how you can utilize oxygen and cold exposure to optimize your body and mind and learn about the underlying physiology. These workshops are available to a limited number of participants to allow for ample personal attention, and feedback tailored to your specific situation. The program generally kicks off with an introduction to the Wim Hof Method and always includes a breathing session and an (optional) ice bath. At the end, there is ample room for reflection, and the Instructor is there to answer questions throughout the workshop.

Instructors have their own specializations, and there is some variation across the individual workshops. A detailed overview of the day is sent out upon registration.

If you have no prior experience with cold exposure, we recommend you finish your showers cold in the days leading up to the workshop. This may be overwhelming at first, but just try to relax, focus on your breath, and bring it into a controlled, steady rhythm.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is suitable for everyone, but does require a basic level of health. Out of precaution, we advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a medical professional before starting the Wim Hof Method.

ShaamaahS is a solo project developed to perform a unique form of ambient music involving Tuvan Throat Singing, Chakra Mantra, Himalayan Singing Bowls, and subtle symphonic soundscapes. “Sound Meditation” is very prominent these days, and most of us are simply curious about how sound meditation can help us achieve focus, and re-engage our “true self”.

October 2022

Fall Community Cleanse
October 5th – 18th

We will meet the week prior to distribute all of the items needed for the cleanse and have a meeting about the details (if the designated time doesn’t work for you other arrangements can be made). All meetings will be possible to join via zoom.

Callie will be explaining more about the cleanse and how we work with some of the basic principles of Ayurveda during the Awareness Wednesday seminar on September 14th at 7:00pm. If you would like to join via zoom, that will also be an option. If you are interested in doing the cleanse and you haven’t done it before, it is important to come to this seminar to learn more about it and these Ayurvedic principles, and to see if it would be a good fit for you. If you aren’t able to make it to the talk, but you have questions and you would like to have a meeting to discuss the cleanse and get set up it will be an additional $75 fee.

Register by September 14th and save $25!

Investment: Repeat Cleansers $320; First Timers $350

Additional items also available (herbs, a tongue cleaner, tea, etc.)

Fall Equinox Women’s Circle
Thursday, September 22nd
7:30-8:45pm

“Each time women gather in circle with one another, the world heals a little more” -Unknown

Throughout history, women have gathered in circles to recognize our interconnectedness, share feminine wisdom, remember our soul’s desires and restore a sense of inner well-being. In the midst of this time of challenge, awakening and at times what may feel like a chaotic world, our intention is to offer a safe and sacred space for women of all ages to gather for ritual, movement, breath, song or chant, intention setting and sharing.

There is something so powerful when women come together to support each other on their journey. We are healed, we are nurtured, and we feel comforted and understood. As the days shorten and we’re guided inward, it’s a time to reflect on what we’ve accomplished over the year and allow space for shift, rest and rejuvenation. This autumnal equinox gives us the opportunity to connect with the grounding energies of the earth and the awe-inspiring energies of the stars, an auspicious time to restore balance in our lives and set ourselves up for the new season ahead!

Our invitation is for you to join us. The event is free to join, but please still sign up through our website so we can know how many to expect. We will be meeting at Santosha (in the yoga studio). Thanks!

Sound Bath Meditation

Wednesday, March 16th at 6:30-7:30 PM

We invite you to sink into the sounds and healing vibrations of this sonic bathing meditation experience.

Music and sound has long been considered a method of cleansing and resetting homeostasis. From ancient Tibetan practices to modern scientific studies, the health benefits of sound frequency technologies is widely accepted.
The session will be led by Laurie Winans Reiser and assisted by Callie Stolz, two practitioners trained in the use of various instruments to facilitate meditation, relaxation and, ultimately healing. This sound bath will primarily be using a variety of Tibetan singing bowls. These are simply tools that stimulate and soothe sensory and neuron pathways so you can deepen into a parasympathetic state of consciousness.
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to set up a personal zone for yourself to cocoon or nest in for the hour. You may want to bring a mat, blanket, pillow, cozy socks and maybe an eye pillow. You can sit, lay down, curl up — create a comfortable space so you can focus on staying present with the sounds and vibrations. We encourage you to bring in whatever you would like to feel cozy, but know we also have things here to set you up if you would like. Most important thing to bring is an open mind and an intention to allow these vibrations move through your body and soothe your soul.
We also encourage you to be hydrated. Sound waves carry on water, and the more hydrated you are, the more likely the frequencies will have a penetrating effect.
This in-studio experience is limited to 14 people. Reserve your space today!

Investment: $20 through 3/09 (early bird rate) and after $25

“If you want to find the secrets of the Universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration” -Nikola Tesla
We as humans are walking energy, vibrating at multiple frequencies. This “Oscillating Prana” performance engages the subtle energy body and allows for a person to truly immerse themselves with the music, simply by being present with this music.
The goal of this sound meditation is to simply perform a meditative sound experience that has the potential to relax, improve health, explore inwards and reach the true teacher and ultimate.

Investment: $35 (early bird) through 1/26; $40 thereafter

Derma Rolling Course for Home Use

Wednesday February 23th at 7:15 PM

Derma Rolling or Micro Needling is one of the best ways to stimulate collagen and elastin in the skin. The only way the skin can strengthen itself is when it is challenged. Just like building muscles there needs to be a micro trauma to the skin for it to signal the body to start producing collagen and elastin building proteins in the dermis. You will learn about essential vitamins and ingredients in products that help support healthy skin function.

Derma Rollers will be provided and you will be able to take them home for continued use. Pre and post products will be supplied. You’ll be led through how to utilize the roller in a safe and effective manner. Come enjoy an evening of education and beauty.

January 2022

Friday, January 7th at 5:30-7:00 PM

Vocalize is a unique breathwork practice that creates magical individual and collective experience. Daniel will guide us through 7 energetic centers using a Shruti box. This classic Indian instrument creates sustained notes that we’ll match with a particular vocal tone… and deep breaths. The powerful vibration of each tone dissolves mental and physical tension.

Ultimately, shruti-tones give way to a 20-minute melodic soundscape which inspires us to explore all the sounds, textures, and volumes our unbridled voices wish to express. The results are often bliss, clarity, peace, and the buzz of expanded possibility. Vocalize feels like freestyle choir where we all intuitively know the ‘words’ and there’s no such thing as off-key. Do join us.

Sound Bath Meditation

Wednesday, January 19th at 6:30-7:30 PM

Investment: $20 through 1/12 (early bird rate) and after $25

Fall Community Cleanse
October 13th-26th
RESET, REPLENISH, RENEW!

It’s that time of year again. The seasons are starting to change and it’s almost time to assist our bodies in making those changes and setting ourselves up for a healthy winter season. Now, more than ever, it seems our best defense for our body is a strong immune system. In the summer heat builds up in the tissues of our body and begins to dry things out. As we move into cooler temperatures our body tends to produce excess mucous in order fight against that dryness. The excess mucous becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and viruses to take over. When we take the time to do a cleanse it allows ourselves the opportunity to flush the excess heat, mucous, and toxins that have built up in our bodies. The community cleanse utilizes the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda in order to help detoxify the body and reboot the digestive system, and going through the process with a community of others makes it all that much easier to get through it successfully. It is not a time of starvation or deprivation, we eat 3 (or 4) meals each day and take specific herbs to assist the process of releasing toxins. It is a systematic 2 week process that starts with preparing your body to go through the cleansing process (a 4 day pre-cleanse), doing the main cleanse (7 days), and then restoring your body to get back to eating your regular diet (a 3 day post cleanse).  It is designed to be a 2 week cleanse, but it can be customized to the length of time that you are able to commit to. And on that same note, if this timing doesn’t work for you, please contact Callie to discuss other options.

Callie Stolz, C.A.S., P.K.S., Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Pancha Karma (cleansing) Specialist, will be leading this two week community cleanse. There will also be yoga detox classes offered in combination with the cleanse in order to assist in the process as well as additional support via zoom this fall for those participants near or far!

What it includes: digestive herbs (specific to your needs), 4 cleansing and rejuvenativing herbal formulas, 7 days worth of the Ayurvedic cleansing food, other recipes, a booklet of information on the step by step process, 2-3 optional meetings weekly and daily email support through the process. We will meet the week prior to distribute all the items needed for the cleanse and have a meeting about the details (if the designated time doesn’t work for you other arrangements can be made). All meetings will be possible to join via zoom.

Callie will be explaining more about the cleanse and how we work with some of the basic principles of Ayurveda during the Awareness Wednesday seminar on September 29th at 7:00PM. If you would like to join via zoom, that will also be an option. If you are interested in doing the cleanse and you haven’t done it before, it is important to come this seminar to learn more about it and these Ayurvedic principles, and to see if it would be a good fit for you. If you aren’t able to make it to the talk, but you have questions and would like to have a meeting to discuss the cleanse and get set up it will be an additional $75 fee.

Register by September 29th and save $25

Regular price (after September 29th):
Repeat Cleansers $270; First Timers $295
Additional items also available (herbs, a tongue cleaner, tea, etc.)

I am honored to offer this special Master Class in beautiful Big Sky, Montana…

Infused with poetry from her self published, “Collecting Feathers” and “Landing hOMe,” Tara will take you on a journey hOMe. While drinking in the sacred sounds of heartbeat and breath, we will take the ability to listen and to feel even deeper within. We will tap into that intuitive sense of knowing; how and when to move and when to be still.

Allow yourself to reconnect to that sacred animal within and the poetry that is your practice, ultimately reminding us how to simply be free both on and off of the yoga mat as we continue to author the most epic novel of all; our life.

We are each born with this… the drum of our heartbeat and the ocean of our breath that are constantly calling us hOMe. The Madison Mountains are among the oldest mountains on Earth; filled with timeless wisdom that goes beyond any spoken language. When treading upon these ancient mountains, we remember ourselves as the very nature we revere and return to ourselves.

Derma Rolling Course for How Use with Samara Alcoke
Thursday, June 24th 7:00-8:00pm

Derma Rolling or Micro Needling is a great tool for stimulating collagen and creating healthier skin. Fine lines, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation can all be diminished with regular derma rolling.

Come and learn about skin health, topical nutrition (product ingredients) and how to exercise the skin. Derma Rolling or Micro Needling is one of the best ways to stimulate collagen and elastin in the skin. The only way the skin can strengthen itself is when it is challenged. Just like building muscles there needs to be a micro trauma to the skin for it to signal the body to send collagen and elastin building proteins to the dermis. Awareness Wednesday
A Spring Cleanse and the Basics of Ayurvedic Cleansing
April 14th 6:30-7:30pm

Join Callie Stolz, C.A.S., P.K.S., Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Pancha Karma (cleansing) Specialist, at Santosha Wellness Center to learn more about why a spring cleanse is so important to our health and well-being especially right now.  It has been a challenging year, some of us may have chosen to focus more on our health, while others may have used a few other methods for coping. Regardless we have an opportunity to start anew this spring and give ourselves an opportunity to reset some patterns that aren’t currently serving you, reset your metabolism and boost your immune system.  There will again be a variety of forms of the cleanse offered this year to allow it to be something that feels manageable and nourishing to truly meet you where you are at.  If you are interested in doing the upcoming Santosha Community Cleanse, whether it is to simply get the information and participate with adding some more mindfulness to your meals and daily routine or if you want to do the full blown cleanse, it is important to come to this informational seminar to see if it is a good fit for you.  Also learn some of the basics of the ancient healing art of Ayurveda and how it pertains to cleansing and tuning into your individual needs during the cleansing process.

This informational seminar will be offered in the studio with limited capacity, as well as a virtual event if you’d like to join in the comfort of your home from near or far.

Spring Equinox Sonic Wash with Janet DeHart and Callie Stolz
Wednesday, March 17th 7:30-8:45pm

Spring is a time for rebirth as we emerge from the depths of winter. Let’s integrate together through the harmonics of sound to celebrate new beginnings and plant seeds for growth. This is an opportunity to revisit New Years manifestations, reset intentions and declare your deepest heart’s desires.

Music and sound has long been considered a method of cleansing and resetting homeostasis. From ancient tibetan practices to modern scientific studies, the health benefits of sound frequency technologies is widely accepted.

The session will be led by two healing practitioners trained in the use of various instruments — gongs, chimes, tuning forks, singing bowls — to facilitate meditation, relaxation and, ultimately, healing. These are simply tools that simulate and soothe sensory and neuron pathways so you can deepen into a parasympathetic state of consciousness.

Set up a personal zone for yourself to cocoon or nest in for the hour; may include: mat, onesie, cozy socks, eye mask and a personal significant item. You can sit, lay down, curl up — create a comfortable space so you can focus on staying present with the sounds and vibrations. We also encourage you to be hydrated. Sound waves carry on water, and the more hydrated you are, the more likely the frequencies will have a penetrating effect.

The in-studio experience is limited to 8 people while the virtual in-home option is unlimited.

Investment: In studio~ $25

Facial Gua Sha Class with Samara Alcoke
Friday, March 19th 7:15-8:15pm

Facial Gua Sha Class Thursday March 18th 7:15 p.m. $50 (Gua Sha tool provided for course, may purchase after class) Early Bird sign up by March 10th $40 Minimum 5/Max 10

Facial Gua Sha is a massage technique designed to relieve tension in the muscles of the face, boost blood circulation, and encourage lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling and inflammation. It helps break up fascia, the connective tissue that hugs muscles and can sometimes interfere with optimal circulation. Gua Sha increases circulation improving lymphatic function, resulting in a naturally dewy, glowing complexion.

Come for an evening of self-care and education as you learn how to Gua Sha your face. We will cover ways to move lymph and reduce puffiness as well as how to contour the face and muscles.

If you have a tool please bring it. Tools will be provided and can be purchased after the class. We will also discuss skin health and nutrition. Pre and post products will be provided. For more details or to ask questions reach out to Samara 720-590-0191. Derma Rolling Course for How Use with Samara Alcoke
Thursday, March 25th 7:15-8:15pm

Must be 18 or older. This is a tool that has .3 mm needles puncturing the skin. For more details or to ask questions reach out to Samara 720-590-0191. Samara is a Licensed Esthetician and you can find out more about her @Skincareoftheworld on IG, FB, or www.skincareoftheworld.com

The session will be led by two healing practitioners, Callie Stolz and Janet DeHart both trained in the use of various instruments — gongs, chimes, tuning forks, singing bowls — to facilitate meditation, relaxation and, ultimately, healing.

Investment: $20 Early Bird Rate through 11/18; then $25 in studio, and $18 LIVE stream (sorry, class packages do NOT apply)

The in-studio experience is limited to 8 people while the virtual in-home option is unlimited. If you want to save your spot in the studio register today! You can call Santosha at (406)570-2477 or CLICK HERE.

Fall Community Cleanse
October 7th-20th

Callie will be explaining more about the cleanse and how we work with some of the basic principles of Ayurveda during the Awareness Wednesday seminar on September 23rd at 5:45PM. If you would like to join via zoom, the link is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85997294539?pwd=L3pVOHZZYVBPUVdFeXU4bDBsbFJHQT09 and the password is Cleanse.

Register by September 23rd and save $25

Regular price (after September 23rd):
Repeat Cleansers $250; First Timers $275

Breath Is Life Workshop with Daniel Kern and Chelsea Didier
Sunday, September 27th
3:00-5:00 pm

Join Daniel and Chelsea for a deep dive into breathwork and intuitive movement.

We breathe to live… and relax, release, energize, and evolve. Guided breathwork is the gateway to our unconscious realm, where stale patterns run deep and old emotions are stored. These dictate our present behavior and wellbeing. Through conscious breathing, we connect to this realm and clear all that does not serve us.

In this workshop, you’ll learn the building blocks of an optimized breathing pattern to carry you through our guided Journey and into the world beyond.
Consider that your health, emotions, mental capacity, and immune system rely primarily on the breath… and that the average Westerner uses just 30% of their lung capacity.

The workshop begins with a comprehensive intro. Then, we drop-in with a meditation inspired by Montana’s beloved wilderness. As the Journey gains momentum, we breathe to the tune of curious inquiry and move our bodies to the flow of an expansive musical soundscape. The workshop will close with a demonstration of everyday breathing methods to elevate your lifestyle.

Are you a first timer to breathwork? Amazing. There will be a wide range of experience levels in this workshop. We’ll give you the skills to self regulate the intensity of your Journey. You’ll decide how deep you allow the breath to take you.

About Daniel & Chelsea: Deep stabilizing breaths have been our saving grace as a couple. Thankfully, as trained Breathwork facilitators, appreciation for its power came naturally to our relationship. We love creating and co-guiding experiences that liberate humans to their full potential.

Investment: $40
Register in advance as space in limited. If it is full you can still register on the wait list and if there is enough interest, we may offer it again the following weekend. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER

Food and Spirit Workshop with Georgia Boley
Thursday, July 23rd 4:30-6:30pm

Would you like a new perspective on your relationship with food? Food & Spirit takes nutrition into the realm of “complete” nourishment through the Seven Systems of Health. Approaching nutrition in this way helps deepen your inner peace, connection to self and others, and brings balance. Join our workshop and experience a full-spectrum approach to your whole self!

The presenter, Georgia Boley, is a licensed registered dietitian (RD) and a Certified Food and Spirit Practitioner (CFSP). The Food & Spirit program founder is Dr. Deanna Minich, an affiliate of The Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM). Deanna’s Food and Spirit program helps us to “move beyond ensuring that the body has physical food for energy to live by taking us into the realm of food as spiritual sustenance – or food for the soul.”

Her approach addresses health in seven categories. These categories are color coded and weave in not just the physical aspects of health, but the many other factors such as sense of community, ability to love versus fear, intuition, and spiritual connection. With all of these aspects, she offers nutrition interventions as one of the ways to help create balance. Dr. Minich’s seven system approach stems from the ancient health practice of chakras.

Investment….$40

Due to the current spike in COVID-19 in our community we have decided to postpone our gathering this evening to the next full moon on Sunday, July 5th. Please save the date of Sunday evening July 5th to connect, more details will be posted about this soon. However, this is still a very powerful time for planting seeds and setting intentions. Our invitation is for you to join us.

Sound Healing with Amy Raven and Callie Stolz
Sunday, February 23rd 6:30 – 7:45 pm

Why does sound have such an effect on the soul?
Why do millions gather together from around the world to hear music?
Why do we feel lighter after dancing until sunrise?
A song can bring us to time travel in the mind,
stir emotion, completely altering the state of being.
The power of sound to heal and transform can be traced to almost every culture and cosmology across time and history. Everything around us has an external frequency- sometimes ineffable and imperceptible, sometimes palpable and authenticating- oscillating across the spectrum of being from living to non-living and non-living to living.  Sound effects can create an acceleration of an inward journey.

Time is suspended as we enter a world of sensation the brain rests into theta waves. Theta is the brain’s deepest repair state. Physical injuries can be healed, old emotional traumas released, and insights can be accessed, leaving us vibrantly alive.
Bring anything that will make you comfortable for the inner ward journey. Perhaps a pillow, an eye mask, crystals, intentions, a friend, and of course an open mind.
Investment: Early Bird Price is $20 until 2/16; after that it is $25
We recommend registering early, as there is a limited number of spaces available.

Sound Meditation and Experience with Shaamaahs
Sunday, January 19th 2:00-4:15pm

What is sound meditation? This phrase is very prominent these days, and most of us are simply
curious on how sound meditation can help us achieve focus, and re-engage our “true self”. If I were to point to a single phrase that encompasses the importance of sound in relation to the human psyche and personal well being … It would be this.

“If you want to find the secrets of the Universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and
vibration” -Nikola Tesla
We as humans are walking energy, vibrating at multiple frequencies. If we’re to break this idea down into the esoteric realm of Chakra meditation …. It is important to note the seven major Chakras and the Universal OM have their own individual frequencies/notes. The Chakras are an intricate energy system that communicates with our bodies glandular functions.
The importance of developing the Pranic Energy Body connection with Chakra balancing
involves initiating the subtle energy body via yoga and meditation. This can be accomplished
with sound meditation to help focus working with the specific Chakras and developing our subtle
energy bodies ability to “oscillate” with an external sound catalyst. This workshop is designed to
be accessible by all levels of yogic, and meditative pursuits and will cover these subjects.
• Sound meditation theory involving both esoteric and analytical approaches.
• Introduction to Himalayan Singing Bowls, how to “sing” a bowl, and proper evaluation of
potential Singing Bowl prior to purchase.
• Spinal Pranayamic breath via Shushumna visualization.
• Chakra energy point stimulation via visualization and “brushing / stirring” techniques.
• Chakra Bija Mantra toning, Mudra exercises, and Breath Awareness.
• Following these exercises I will perform a 1 hour Chakra sound meditation involving Tuvan
Throat Singing, Himalayan Singing Bowls and a Shruti Box. Students will have an
opportunity to either lay in Svasana, or sitting meditation to include optional Chakra
visualization, Mudra, and 3rd eye lock.
• All attendees with receive a choice of 4 different high resolution 1hr long ShaamaahS Chakra
meditations and “cheat sheet” with Chakra descriptions, Mudra, and Mantras.
• Students will leave this class with the ability to practice, and develop their own personal
meditation practice.
• For an audio preview of the sound meditation go to www.shaamaahs.com/music

Investment: Early bird ~ $40 (through 1/12/20) or $50 after 1/12/20

Introduction to the POWER OF THE BEAUTIFUL STATE
January 15th 7:30-8:30pm

We are excited to say that the 2-day transformational POWER of THE BEAUTIFUL STATE two-day Course is coming back to Big Sky in the beginning of May. However, we couldn’t wait to share with you a few of our favorite take-aways from the course this past fall and give you a couple tools to begin practicing to help you access this “power of the beautiful state”. Jill Singer, Kallie Harrison and Callie Stolz will be offering an introduction of this workshop and some powerful tools to take into your day to day life.

POWER of THE BEAUTIFUL STATE  is simply and profoundly an effective method to access Presence or Higher Intelligence for more authentic living, abundance and connection. It is A Consciousness Game Changer. Last fall, Elizabeth Scherwenka (from Marin) and Lea Flocchini (from Sun Valley, Idaho) offered this as a weekend course. We had such a great response to it and further interest that we are excited to have them back again this spring. This weekend course is designed for those who’ve been on a spiritual path for years, for those who have never meditated or tried but failed at meditation, and for those who have gotten entirely too busy to push the pause button. More than a meditation course, it is a revolutionary program, grounded in neuroscience and balanced beautifully with wisdom teachings, ancient processes and simple practices, that gently guides participants from stressful, divisive states to calm, connected states.

Embrace Your Feminine: Understanding and using your hormone cycle for productivity and creativity in home and work
with Dr. Carlye Luft December 18th 7:30-8:30pm

There is no question the “Feminine” now plays a powerful role in western culture. Yes, we can “have it all”. However, women are beginning to realize that “doing more” does not necessarily equate to efficiency and productivity. The activities and responsibilities of professional career work, taking care of family, and managing a household is beginning to take its toll on many American women. This makes me recall the advice given to me many times by my mentor and good friend, Coral Grant, which is to never confuse activity with accomplishment. Our “Do-it-all” and “do-more” nature has kept us from taking breaks, creating disease due to stress, and struggling with anxiety.

Join Dr. Carlye Luft, Naturopathic Physician, Mayan Shamanic Healer, to learn how to embrace your cyclical nature of femininity. Understand and use your female hormone cycle to your advantage to be more productive and creative at work while still having a strong presence in your family and not sacrificing self-care – by simply doing less when it is called for.

This workshop is inspired by the Mayan Shamanic and Metaphysical Teachings of my Master Teacher- Dr. Suzan Rossi; my good friend and mentor-Coral Grant, and the book “Do Less” by Kate Northrup.

As always, Awareness Wednesdays are free and open to anyone, so come on in and broaden your awareness!

Fall Community Cleanse
October 9th-22nd
RESET, REPLENISH, RENEW!

It’s that time of year again. The seasons are starting to change and it’s almost time to assist our bodies in making those changes and setting ourselves up for a healthy winter season.

There will also be yoga detox classes offered in combination with the cleanse in order to assist in the process.

What it includes: digestive herbs (specific to your needs), 4 cleansing and rejuvenativing herbal formulas, 7 days worth of the Ayurvedic cleansing food, other recipes, a booklet of information on the step by step process, 3 meetings and daily email support through the process. We will meet the week prior to distribute all the items needed for the cleanse and have a meeting about the details (if the designated time doesn’t work for you other arrangements can be made).

Callie will be explaining more about the cleanse and how we work with some of the basic principles of Ayurveda during the Awareness Wednesday seminar on September 18th at 7:00.

Register by September 18th and save $25

Regular price (after September 18th):
Repeat Cleansers $250; First Timers $275

Sound Healing with Amy Raven
July 28th 6:30-7:45pm

Why does sound have such an effect on the soul? Why do millions gather together from around the world to hear music? Why do we feel lighter after dancing until sunrise? A song can bring us to time travel in the mind, stir emotion, completely altering the state of being.
Everything around us has an external frequency- sometimes ineffable and imperceptible, sometimes palpable and authenticating- oscillating across the spectrum of being from living to non-living
and non-living to living.  Sound effects can create an acceleration of an inward journey.

Time suspended as we enter a world of sensation the brain rests into theta waves. Theta is the brains deepest repair state. Physical injuries can be healed old emotional traumas released, insights can be accessed, leaving us vibrantly alive.
Bring anything that will make you comfortable for the inner ward journey. Pillow, eye mask, crystals, intentions, a friend, and an open mind.

Investment: Early Bird Price is $20 until 7/21st; after that it is $25

Chakra Sound Bath Meditation

With Shaamaahs
Saturday, February 9th 7:00-8:00pm

It was so awesome to have him here that he is coming back one more time to bring back his soothing vibrations and add a short breathwork component in the beginning to allow you to drop even deeper into this meditative state.

This sound meditation I’ve developed uses esoteric “drone” instruments in a specific tuning that is relative to natural ratios that are seen within the natural worldour physiology, our solar system and ancient cultural paradigms. IE: Fibonacci, Phi, and Pythagorean theorem.  These natural ratios are incorporated with Tuvan/Kargyraa throat singing, matched octave singing bowls per each Chakra frequency,  and a Shruti Box.  This is performed solo and in unison to create a oscillation catalyst that allows for a phenomenon called “Sympathetic Resonance”.  Each instrument used in this meditation when combined is something that when experienced is very unique and quite powerful at each progressive level of energy body development.

The importance of developing the Pranic Energy Body connection with Chakra balancing involves initiating the subtle energy body via yoga and meditation. This can be accomplished with sound meditation to help focus working with the specific Chakras and developing our subtle energy bodies ability to “oscillate” with an external sound catalyst.  The presentation of this catalyst is the sound meditation that will be performed

The goal of these sound meditations is to simply perform and provide a meditation that has the potential to relax, improve health, explore inwards and reach the true “teacher” within all of us. Space is limited for this amazing experience- in order to hold your spot give us a call at (406)993-2510 or register online by clicking here and going to the workshops tab.

Technology-Enhanced Mindfulness w/ Jay Sanguinetti

Stimulating your brain with Light and Sound to boost your Meditation practice Sunday, January 27th, 1:00-2:30p.m.

The workshop will discuss using noninvasive brain stimulation to enhance meditation practice. We will focus on two relatively new modalities for brain stimulation: ultrasound and light. Part one will be a demo of how low-intensity ultrasound can accelerate meditation practice. We will run through an ultrasound + meditation protocol so the audience can get a sense of what the total setup looks like. (We call it SEM – sonication enhanced mindfulness). In the second part of the workshop, Jay will introduce another type of brain stimulation system that uses near-infrared light (via low power LEDs) to enhance brain function during meditation. Participants will get a chance to try low-level light stimulation while they meditate and will have an opportunity to discuss their phenomenological experience at the end. Space will be limited to 15 people, so register today! You can register by calling Santosha at (406)993-2510 or book online by clicking here and going to the workshops page.
